
Male gray whelk.
The gray wheatear (Oenanthe oenanthe), is a migratory bird that after spending the reproductive period in the Pyrenees, returns to central Africa to spend the winter. It is an insectivorous bird, in the Pyrenees we can find it in supra-forest meadows with the presence of rocks. In them it captures its prey and makes its nests taking advantage of existing holes.
