During the central hours of the day, roe buck (Capreolus capreolus) usually rest in sheltered areas such as dense forests. In this case, this female roe deer has chosen a pubescent oak grove (Quercus humilis synonymous Quercus pubescens), within the natural area of Puigventós, in the municipality of Olesa de Montserrat. Behind the animal is the trunk of a young bark oak, surely by a male roe deer in its impetus to mark its territory.
